Your
donation allows Body Electric to continue providing education
and advocacy to our community -- encouraging women and girls to
be more physically active and to speak up for the
equal opportunity that we all deserve and that is mandated by
law.
We
accept donations by check or credit card (coming soon), and gifts in kind which
support our programs, such as software, office supplies, items
for raffles and silent auctions and more. Please see our Wish
List for giving ideas.

Do
you have an old car, RV, boat or truck and don't know what to
do with it? Consider donating it to Cars 4 Causes - the charity
that gives to charities! They offer a unique way for people to
donate to their favorite nonprofit organization (hint, hint: Body
Electric) by selling your donated vehicle. The proceeds from the
sale are then donated to the charity of your choice. Call 1-800-766-CARE
or visit www.cars4causes.net

Workplace Giving
If you would like to give through your company's United Way campaign,
you can write in "
Body Electric."
United Way's Designation/Restricted
Gift Policy states, "
A minimum $36 per restricted gift per designated
agency per year is required for a donor to restrict his/her charitable
gift."
Matching Gift Programs
Many
companies have Matching Gift Programs for charitable donations
made by their employees. This means that for every dollar an employee
donates to an approved charitable organization, their employer
will donate some additional amount.
Please
ask your human resources department if your company offers a program
like this. If so, let us know and we'll help you fill out the
necessary paperwork to multiply your donation by taking advantage
of this generous benefit.
